A Black Tie Gala evening was held in Pakenham in April 2014 to raise money for The Cancer Council. They are the leading independent funders of cancer research in Australia. As Australia's peak national non-government cancer control organisation, Cancer Council Australia advises the Australian Government and other bodies on practices and policies to help prevent, detect and treat cancer. They also advocate for the rights of cancer patients for best treatment and supportive care. Through our support and many others we hope that one day they will find a cure.
Warrandyte Football Club is a local football club that has a great community feel and spirit. Its dedicated volunteers behind the scenes working in the canteen, team managers, runners, umpires, gatekeepers, scoreboard attendants, officials, bar attendants, junior coaches and numerous other thankless tasks that keep the club running on a weekly basis. Warrandyte Football Club is a name said with pride, but without the spirit and dedication of the people and personalities involved with it for the last ten decades it would not have survived and flourished. We are glad to be a sponsor of this succesfull football club.
